Your rental agreement with us will be for a minimum of six months.
If you wish to end the agreement after six months, you will need to give us one calendar month’s notice in writing. So, for example, if you want to move out on 1 September, you should let us know by 1 August. You will have to pay rent for your full notice period.
If you want to end your tenancy, please complete the Notice of Leaving form.
During your notice period, we will arrange to come in and inspect the property. We will tell you if there is anything you need to do before you leave, such as removing any rubbish, and arrange for you to return the keys.
We will carry out another inspection after you have moved out to check that you have left the property in the condition that it was let to you, according to the record of condition that you signed. We will also take the final meter readings.
There are rarely any problems but, if you do leave any damage, we will deduct the cost of any repairs from your deposit before it is returned to you. We will discuss and agree this with you first.
